Debating base on these reasons (pros&cons)

Pros:
-Generally understand history
-AP Credit
-Will look good for my Jr year's classes taken

Cons:
-Lots of writing and reading
-Expecting a B (Probably A-/A for regular though)
-Not going to major in history (kind of obvious)
-Already have at least 6 APs on my plate (2 AP Physics C, Micro/Macro, Chinese, and possibly AP Environmental science/Chem.)

Uhm, if your’e walking in the class with the mindset that you are getting a B, don’t take the class…especially if you want to later apply to MIT.

I got a C in APUSH, it turned out fine.

I didn’t take it even though it was offered just because it was constraining my schedule and I wasn’t particularly interested in the class as it was structured. I just tested out of regular and took other classes instead and it worked out for me. If you don’t want to take it, don’t - it looks like you’re taking plenty of other challenging classes.

@Yea I’m also doing Independent math study (I finished BC already) so yup.
I have a mindset on B because I don’t have the extra time to make my writing better than the people who do(those who only have APUSH has there only AP)

Don’t take a class based on how it will look on a college application. If you know you don’t want to do it, then don’t… choose a class you know you want to do.

I think you already have enough on your plate that not taking APUSH won’t matter. In my junior year, I took AP Chem, Calc BC, and Lang. I opted for regular US History because I wasn’t interested and it worked out fine.
