I am taking the AP test tomorrow…
I absolutely nervous about the COM/CCOT … not actually about the writing but what if I don’t know the topic?

Im so scared!

I know that, one continuity will always be the status of women & the lowest class being the peasantry for the most part. (that’ll probably be what I use)
BUT, I don’t what else.

What are some possibles for the FRQs?

if you need a brush up on the information . .
ABLONGMAN’s website is pretty helpful .
Check it out.

Less than 12 hours to go ://
Does anyone have ideas for possible FRQs?

Are the 2002 and 2007 tests posted earlier real tests? I have been a horrible world history student this year and have been studying for 5 other AP exams, sacrificing this one to do it, and I got 64/70 on the '07 exam. There is no way that is right. Like, seriously…I know no world history. Are those previous exams?

It is a real exam, and that is an INSANE score. If you can replicate that on the actual exam you’re set.

I don’t think the '07 exam MC part is that difficult. I got 62/70 and i thought it would be much harder than that.
Still pretty much worried about Latin America pre-colonial and Africa all eras. Really worry about CCOT and COM freak out

@graviton holy schnozz…you’re fine.

go to bed, go in that exam room feeling great about yourself, and go get yourself a 5.

same advice goes to everyone here…GOOD LUCK!! i’m sure we’ll all do great. If you don’t know the essay, chill out, try to make a brief outline for 5 minutes, and you’ll do fine.

Hmm… I’m not sure if this was just me, but I thought the 2002 MC was much more difficult compared to the 2007 MC. The 2007 MC was like… I don’t even know. Cake?
Anyways, Good luck to all of you!! Let us all get 5’s! :D

Good luck everyone! Remember, when in doubt ask yourself, what would Ender do o_o?

I’m not sure why it says “chine” (I was thinking it says “chinese” but cut off, but maybe not). But its supposed to represent the Western powers carving spheres of influence into China (during the Qing dynasty).

I agree with Leonz. I would say the cartoon is from 1750-1914, because it looks like the west is “carving out” China, and trying to gain influence there, much like it did during the 1800s (Qing dynasty). And I believe Chine is the French name for China. Correct me if I’m wrong.

Chine is French for China.

Looks like the Modern Era.

can pencil be used for frqs? or only pen

2007 MC is way easier than 2002’s, for me at least.
anyways, any last minute tips before I go to sleep? I’m really freaked out about it

Goodluck to everyone though!

Does anyone know if in the past few years the exams have gotten harder/easier/stayed the same since the 2007 exam?

Because that one is a serious ego boost.

2002 was definitely harder than 2007. I got the first 40 questions right and then I was like PHBBBTFOSHFIOSHFBHJ&$&T)&$YT explosion

What an earth am I suppose to do for the CCOT Essay?
My question is on these two specific categories.

“Uses historical context effectively to explain changes over time and continuities”
“Analyzes the process of change over time and/or continuity”

What the hell do they mean? D:

CalvinTBOD, I would recommend you get some sleep before the exam tomorrow!
Historical context is world context as in outside events that have a direct/indirect (direct is always better) influence on the change/continuity you are analyzing, which brings me to my second point. “Analyzes the process of change over time and/or continuity” is basically just asking for analysis. When you’re writing the essays constantly think of “WHY.” Why this is significant, why this happened…etc.

Best of luck on all “WHAPers” tomorrow! This is our year. :)

Keep in mind that as the MC exam gets easier (as it seems is the current trend), average composite scores go up too. So getting a 5 would still be about the same difficulty. XP

I’m crossing my fingers and hoping for a CCOT on modern history (i.e. Cold War) because I think I’d faint on the spot if they asked for Africa, 600-1450 or something.
