pen or pencil for the FRQ??? anyone?

Thanks

Take pens for the FRQ’s, they photocopy them and send them to the readers. Pencils wouldn’t photocopy well.

And oh my god, I would be so happy if they asked a question about the Cold War or the Soviet Union. That’s my field of specialty :P

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA i just bombed AP WH!

The MC part is soooooo easy! I thought just about the same difficulty as the released tests

And the DBQ and FR questions are at least my type. XDDDDD

do not worry about the test and just calm and eat something before the test.
(there were around twenty minutes left after I finished MC, and thrity minutes left after I finished all the essays…and, I graffitied 12pages…)

Good luck everybody!!!

I thought the test went pretty good. There were a few things I wasn’t sure about on MC and it took me quite a while to think of something for the second essay, but I’m very confident. I don’t want to get too cocky though haha.

I accidentally wrote a paragraph on something out of the period for the second essay. Will it just be ignored during grading because it’s invalid, or will it be considered in the total score? My teacher said wrong things are ignored…

Did you guys have a ton of double-answers? I usually don’t fret about minute stuff like this, but I found it odd that I was getting 2 of the same answers multiple times throughout the test. A lot of the people I talked to said the same thing.

I had a lot of double answers. You shouldn’t worry about it. On one of the previous exams the answers at one point were something like “BBBBABBB.” I thought the written section was pretty easy. Thank goodness for that DBQ.

How much is a 50-55 on the MC and essays score of : 8,6,7, is that a 5?

etennis12,

That should be a low 5 even with the curve changing a bit.

Did anybody else get stuck on quite a few mc questions with multiple possible answers? everyone i talked to said it was easy so im a little worried cuz i didnt think so…

^easy doesnt mean there are no hard questions

Ridiculously easy… IMO there was absolutely no difficult questions. Truthfully, I’ve taken harder practice tests.

It just… All those hours gone to waste studying lol…

^ i kno u didnt get a perfect

We’ll never find out so it’s a pointless argument. But IMO it was extremely easy. The only question where I had sit and think was the CCOT.

DBQ= OK
C/C= MEH… could’ve been easier
THE COT WAS A LITERAL HELL.

and multiple choice was ok

^^ we will when if u get a 4 or less

a 5 isn’t perfect. a 5 is 77 - 120… based on the 2010 scoring. Who knows what It’ll be this year.

CB doesn’t give AP score breakdown reports, so like I said I, nor will you ever know… :P

^ I kno but if u get a 5, you will claim that u could have gotten a perfect

Whatd you guys say about the question with British Trains in India?

How do u calculate you score?

I thought that all of the MC questions were very easy, and the free response was fair. The CCOT seems to be the one that most people thought was hard, but I feel like if you look back and thought about it you could have answered it with just common sense/middle school education.
