Um jman010295 by 60 they mean 60 points. 70 x 0.857142 = 60. By the way, 0.857142 is about 6/7, just like the essays times 2.2222. 2.2222 is about 20/9. It gets both of the max scores to 60. In conclusion, 60 is a full score (70 correct) jman010295.

yea my bad i just realized that after i posted

Is anyone else scared that the curve might be like this

100-120: 5
85-99: 4
70-84:3
50-69: 2
1-49: 1

^ you must be kiddin.

then u must hit 65MC correct nd then essays with 7 points

Is there anything you guys think i should do to help? i usually get like 40-45 mc questions right and 5-7’s on essays but idk it’s just so overwhelming. Do you think i should just take 3 mc tests, memorize the rubrics, and look over my notes for these few days? My school’s taking the later test.

Maybe 100/120 is ridiculous, but that exam, compared to the previous ones, was way to easy for a 90/120 to be a 5.

Well isn’t someone paranoid and disseminating false information.

You are forgetting that this board, generally speaking, is the upper crust of the AP World History exam test takers. I assume my AP World History class is a fairly accurate microcosm of the test taking population.
34 of us
*5 of us studied
*3 of us studied long term (of which I am one)
Furthermore, I know of at least three people who said they had less than 10 MC right. Two of those finished in <10 minutes because they guessed on EVERY question. The other said she read the first few words of the first 50, then random guesses for the rest. Several more people (that I know of) did more than that, but for the MC as a whole, didn’t try nor care.
Most of the class didn’t even do all three FRQ. In fact, I would say <10 did. Almost all did the DBQ and some did EITHER the CCOT or the CC. Some wrote stupid stuff or drew pictures for two of the FRQ.
In summary, don’t give APWH testers too much credit (if my HS is at all representative).

Who ever is saying 90 is a cocky *****? Smh, even as someone who probably got a 90+, i still am smhing.

this post makes me feel so good. thanks man

I just got done with Form B (I was sick last week on test day). It was ridiculously easy for me because I’m half-Mexican and there was a FRQ on Mexican politics. DBQs are always easy on AP World tests and the change and continuity was on women’s roles.

MC was super easy besides a few strange questions.

Radioheadbro: “Form B” refers to the test for international students. Just fyi lol.
I also took the make-up test! I thought the MC was mad easy, the DBQ was easy, the compare/contrast was fine, but the CCOT WAS HORRIBLE. You’re lucky you’re half-mexican I had no idea what to write for that one so I just BS-ed it. Hopefully I managed at least a 3, lol.

I’m taking ap world next year and evryone says its the hardest class in our school (out of at least 14aps/=to multivarcalc). How hard were ur classes. Did they prepare for the exam

@sarcasmrules I’m probably not the best POV for this, since I had the teacher who failed almost all of her entire first AP World class (they all got 5s, by the way), but it was challenging. I’m good at memorizing stuff, but in this class, you have to be good at memorizing several parallel events, then not get them confused with similar events elsewhere or in another time. If you can do that, and figure out how the essays work, you should be good.

On the topic of the test:
I thought all of it was easy, except the Comp. I felt weakest on the Comp, but the other FRQs were fine. I’m hoping for a 2007 curve, that would be nice.

When do the scores come in? It should be any day now, right?

3rd week of July? not yet QuillandScroll :)

Ohhh, I see. Thanks!(:

So glad I’m done with AP World. Waaaaay too freaking broad to be really interesting.

i really though the test was okay. my teacher literally gave homework everyday and we did class projects and essays all the time. we even had a separate class just to prepare for the AP, where we wrote 5+ page outlines for topics (longest was around 20 pgs) and a multiple choice test and an essay EVERY WEEK. i feel that we were over prepared for this test. im expecting a 5. most of the stuff we did in class was WAY harder than the actual test :)

MC was really easy. DBQ was good, though if that topic was for another essay, i would have failed that part… CCOT nearly screwed me over, but i remembered stuff about the indentured servant migration, atlantic slave trade, and the irish potato famine. C/C was also good, i wrote about the aztecs and mongols

i hope you all get good scores when you get them in july (or in about 1-2 days if you call) :D

GOT A 5!! whooo!
