What is the best textbook for AP World History?

sterns world civilizations

Traditions & Encounters seems pretty good to me. That’s what my school uses.

Traditions and Encounters was good.

My school used Ways of the World: A Global History With Sources by Strayer

Worlds Together Worlds Apart! It is a great book @tim322

Do not use sterns it’s terrible get the Princeton Review.

Thanks for all the input

Are you kidding me? Sterns is incredible! My WHAP teacher didn’t teach us at all and I got a 5 just by reading the textbook. Of course, actually enjoying the material helps too…I found that this class and APUSH are the two where people either really love it or hate it.

Don’t use a textbook. Use the Essential Coursebook the Ethel Wood wrote. I was assigned a textbook in my class this past year and relied exclusively on Ethel Wood’s book, and I was able to have the strongest test scores in my particular class. It is far more concise than many other textbooks.
