I'm taking the AP World History course. Each week we have to take note a chapter in a book called " The Earth and Its Peoples". but that's about it. In class we do stupid projects, sometimes write some response to current events. But those things don't test anything that we read! So I'm afraid I will do badly on the AP World History because of my teacher's weird way of teaching. What should I do now?

AP World History is really just one of those tests where you have to read the book, remember the information, and be able to write well. So if you supplement your reading of the textbook with a test guide book (like Barron’s or PR - not sure which is best for World History) and you’re a good student, you’ll be able to ace the exam. I hear it’s not all that difficult.

All you have to do is read the book each night and TAKE NOTES for God’s sake. When I took that class 2 years ago, it was the first year my school offered that course so nobody really had a good idea about what the test would be like but I just worked hard. (I got a 5)

Buy the PR book, and study that. You will do fine.
