AP World or AP Stats?

I am selecting classes for next year. I am currently taking APUSH for social science. I only have one more slot in my schedule but I want to take AP World & AP Stats.
Which one should I choose? If I choose Stats, would it look bad on applications that I didn't take any social science junior year?
I am considering pick one, and self study the other. If I resort this method, I am leaning toward taking AP World, self studying AP Stats, since I am a science/math person, it would be easier for me.
But I am still hesitating because I will have a heavy load schedule next year, I don't want to spend a bunch of time on AP World like I do on APUSH even when I don't care about social science.

Please give me some advice, your experience on self studying either/both, or your experience on taking either/both.

Thanks.

Are you taking another math aside from AP Stats? Because if not, take Stats. You need a math course way more than you need a social science.

But AP World is veryyyy easy. I got a 5 on the AP Exam and my teacher didn’t teach us a single thing until we hit WWI, so I basically self-studied that class. If you have a pension for remembering random facts, you can probably self study World if you dedicate an hour every day.

I have 2 other math classes besides Stats: Calc, LA&DEQ

Then definitely take AP World. AP World is actually considerably harder than AP Stats, especially for self-studying.

Thanks Calvin.
