Hi everyone! So I need to submit my senior year schedule soon and I don’t know if I am demonstrating enough rigor/ challenging myself. I come from top 5 public school in MA and honors classes are considered same or better than ap classes. For example, honors chem 2 is considers just as rigorous as AP Chem. Anyways, I am taking regular calculus, French 5, honors Shakespeare, honors marine biology, AP psychology( ik a lot of people say AP Psych is an easy ap but it’s very difficult at my school) and AP gov. I will also be #1 on golf team and Senior class president( most likely bc I was last year too). I really don’t know what I’m capable of as freshman year I got like straight b’s in regular classes and this year I’m getting all a’s in 2 honors except for a b in honors biology. I’m in honors history and it is such a rigorous honors course that our teacher wants us to take the AP exam in may( which I am doing). I know it doesn’t seem like my courses are that rigorous but even regular classes are considered pretty difficult at my school and I hope colleges will understand that. I an wondering if I need to take a 3rd AP senior year to stand out. Of course some kids are going all out taking 5 ap but I have a good amount of friends who got 1350s on sat and had 3.6 with only 1 ap junior and senior year and is now going to UMich, NYU, Tufts. So, do you think I will be okay with two honors and two AP senior year or should I challenge myself even more. Will 2 AP senior year instead of 3 make a huge difference in the admission process?
Thanks and I am open to what you all have to say!
