hey everyone.
When do u start studying for AP's? What subjects do the medical universities ie:UC, require?

The night before the test.

There are no requirements for AP tests anywhere to the extent of my knowledge.

And what do you mean by the medical universities ie:UC?

I am going to be a bit of a contrarian on this topic and say that you should only take APs in subjects you are very interested in. I have noticed that many kids think they can handle a lot of APs and they get bad grades on most of them (the actual test, not the class). I would start with one in the first year you can take one (especially if it's freshman or sophomore year) just so you can get used to the pressure, the commitment, and difficulty. Then junior year, take as much as you think you can handle based on the previous year's experience. Then senior year, take more. For example, I took my first AP sophomore year, I'm taking two next year, and I'm taking (hopefully, as my school is picky about who they let in to an AP class) 4 or 5. That's a total of 7 or 8, which already sets me apart from all but about 4% of the population in number of APs and since I also plan on getting 5s or at least 4s on each one, I think that is enough APs.
