Are there any good one close to brown university?

You would need to clarify what you mean by this, and what for? FYI: All students in Freshman and Soph years live on campus, unless they are returning ed students, or locals living with parents, with permission to commute. Some Juniors are granted permission for off-campus housing, many Seniors live off campus. What do you consider good?

Reasonable price, cheap, clean, close to campus, and safe.

For individuals? They exist but are very hard to get since many med students snatch them up. For groups of students, yes.

yes 10char

Yes, but either grubby or expensive and from what I have seen. My dd lived off campus, with permission, Jr year, just a block away, with roommates, and again Sr year spring (fall was overseas.)

Your personally can’t do it First year or Soph, but if you are looking for a family member, than yes.

oh pish rent is cheeeap in providence compared to a lot of parts of the country (i’m currently paying out the you know what in hawaii). There are a lot of good places, you just have to like, buy a pretty couch and you’re living large. Apartments are also HUGE.

Check out these listings they’re all close to campus:

Also check craigslist. The only thing I can say is don’t live in University Heights. Besides being a ****ty building it’s notorious for burglaries.
