<p>I'm looking for an apartment for next year close to the UC Berkeley campus (like 10-15 min walk). Preferably the Northside where it's more quiet. Or toward the East side.
Or cheap ones near unit 2, but most of what i found was quite pricey :(
Anyone know where to look? Or have any info that may help?

<p>Their apartments are beautiful and within your price range. Lowest I’ve heard is $2400 for 2 BR.</p>
<p>Look into the Berkeley Apartment buildings just east of campus: Gaia, Berkeleyan, Bachenheimer, Fine Arts. I would personally live at any of those, but the only way it’s affordable is if you have 3+ roommates to split the rent.</p>

<p>You can start looking now, but a lot of rentals will start opening up during the first two weeks of March, because a lot of people must decide whether to renew their leases at the end of February. It can’t hurt to start looking now, but more rental units will open up during the second or so week of March.</p>
