When would be the best time to look for apartments next year and how should one start?

Some people start as early as Oct. It depends on the locations of the apartments, etc. I think you’d be fine starting it around November or something… :)

How to start? Search it online, look around, ask people, etc.

I signed my lease for the next year the week before fall break. A few friends started to look the week after fall break and some were gone. So if you want your pick and less pressure to sign asap before its gone, do it early since thats when prelims/work doesn’t start piling up yet.

thanks for the input, would you happen to know popular apartments that are close to campus? I think 312 is one right? I heard that it’s also expensive…

I’m going to start pretty much right when I get to school

I actually really liked Ace’s Apts from Ithaca Renting Co. 6 bedrooms, clean/nice enough, and cheap for it’s location (~$500 per room per month).

Regardless, Ithaca Renting Co. owns a lot of property in Collegetown.

A few other landlords in CTown include Pam Johnston (don’t recommend), Nick Lambrou, and Fontana
