Apartments near cornell that allows pet (mainly, a 75 lbs dog)

Does campus owned housing complex allow pets ? I assume not but doesn't hurt to ask.

Also, are there any places off campus (apartments or houses) that allow pets?

Fraternities would be fine. Some apartments, but you will have to negotiate the lease though for a 75 pound dog.

most frats have some dogs.

...poor dogs :-(

Well I hope that whatever place you find that accomodates pets, it is far from where I live because I despise animals, especially dogs.

Townhouses don't allow pets right?

Welcome to Ithaca Rentals & Renovations, Inc -

they are kind of old though....

^^splintercell, no one asked for your opinion. And no, no campus housing facility allows dogs (unless it is a guide dog that is in service). Fish are allowed though.

There are some Collegetown properties that allow pets, but usually small pets and have an expensive deposit. It might be harder to find a place that would allow a 75 pound dog.

my son got hamsters his 2nd year to replace his dog ...it did not work...they ran on their wheel all night and smelled and bite him.

haha...my roomie and I had a hamster my sophomore year....kept me up all night and bit me as well.

We did a good job of keeping him a secret until we stuck him in his ball and he rolled out of our room and right into the RA's room :-D

Don't worry Splintercell, it will take less than a week from when you arrive on campus for everybody figure out you're an idiot. No need to show off how stupid you are on the internet before you even get to campus, trust me and have patience... they will notice.

I am not stupid. How dare you imply such things! I am just a man with strong ideals.

splintercell, you are very stupid.

Sorry, had to say that after your "How dare you imply such things!" comment.

wait...are you one of those zoophiles? let me guess, the dog is a husky, right?! :o

if you want to live with pets, you can live in the ecology house...but you can only have small caged animals

splintercell, I've got to be real here ...

if you are this utterly picky about everything you mention (types of animals people have, how close they are to you, having to share a bathroom with people, wondering how often bathrooms are cleaned by staff, location of the sinks in relation to toilets, etc.), I really wonder: how on earth do you expect to survive in an extremely ruthless career called investment banking? Honestly man, most people aren't cut out for that type of job, there is nothing that you've ever said that has made me believe that you are.

Strong ideals... is that what they call it these days
