How long does it usually take to hear from a school after your appeal the financial aid packet?

Last year, I got a response within a week and a half. I found out on the applicant link before I got an answer through the mail a few weeks later.

How do you appeal? Is it best to meet in person or talk on the phone with an officer? Do you need to write a paper with your reasoning? What's involved? etc...

thanks.

All that's involved is a short statement in writing about why your specific situation could benefit from a little more aid. The pamphlet entitled "your financial aid" that comes with your acceptance packet tells you specifically what to do in case you want to appeal.

Ahhh.. I gotcha.

Thanks a lot!

I don't see the pamphlet entitled "Your Financial Aid" that came with my other materials or anything that mentions a financial aid appeal. What does it say about appealing?

Thanks GOBU.. if you dont mind me asking.. how much did your appeal help?
