Only in sophomore year did I begin to consider a career in the military. I really want to go to the naval academy if possible, because I like the competitive atmosphere, student camaraderie, and feel I could use the forced discipline and the experience of a military environment before I am responsible for practical job performance that has consequences for others. Is it a good idea to apply from college and what do I do in the meantime? I will be applying from the University of Pittsburgh. My high school record does not include any sports, and my senior year grades dropped from a 97 to an 87, but I was taking the most advanced classes offered, how important is my high school record?
I appreciate all comments and will reply to any questions you may choose to direct at me with the best of my knowledge.
