Apology for recent behavior

I would like to take this opportunity to apologize for my recent behavior on this board, especially in my last post. I had not been given much food by my parents for quite a while so that I could adhere to their extremely strict Atkins diet. The lack of sugar caused me to have low energy, and become very upset about my life. I also did not treat the parents on here with the respect that they deserve because of it. Yes, life is very difficult for me, but I hope to greatly improve its quality by becoming a professional engineer and biologist, and one of the first steps is convincing the associate dean of engineering and the coordinator of engineering recruitment and retention that I am a capable person to hold a mentoring and tutoring job in engineering because I have made a lot of progress, according to my Asperger's counselors.

It is also comforting to know that there are protections under the law for people like me, so that I can make something of myself. Although I hope to not have to use them whenever I apply for a job, I feel better knowing that I could.

So, anyways, I hope to be doing some major-related stuff this summer. Research on fish diets, completing the raising of my family's fish, expanding the family business, doing electrical and civil engineering work. Hopefully, next summer, I will do my own programming project using C++ after I take systems programming. Very soon, I will have two of my three undergraduate degrees, in ECE and biology.

Also, I got to help my zoology teacher today with evaluations. Basically, I just collected them after she was gone and turned them in to the office. I definitely scored some brownie points with her with that, and least she knows my name now! I also learned today that I am the only person enrolled in Biomedical Instrumentation for this fall. I hope others sign up so I can get my degree this fall.

But enough about me, offer up your comments! I love talking!

Glad you're feeling better, more upbeat. I tried a high protein/no carbs diet once and began feeling extremely weird on the second day. Diet can make a huge difference in how some people function--not just fish!

If your parents are still choosing your food for you, you seriously need to move out of their house....
