Apostrophes in essay forms.

So I'm not sure if this is just me, but all apostrophes I include in my essays are converted into a series of 's once I save the page. Is anyone else having this issue? Any way around this?

I'm using Chrome, though I don't see why that would matter.

Are you copy/pasting from Word?

To fix it, either preview your application using the PDF at the end of each section, and fix them manually, or you can copy/paste from Word into a plain-text editor, and then transfer that into the application.

This was addressed in recent blog posts.

I had the same problem when I applied. Like wiseguy said, if you’re copy pasting just make sure to type in an apostrophe.

FYI—Obviously the same applies for any other rich text elements (i.e. em dashes, quotation marks, etc.), so be on the lookout for those as well.

I was actually working partially in Word and partially in Notepad++. The bits that were pasted from Word into Notepad++, then into the form, were the ones that had issues. Interesting.

Anyway, thanks for your help. Issue successfully resolved.
