App site down?

In at 1:18 AM.

Now begins 6 months of anxiety! Yay!

I hope so! All I had to do was enter the credit card HAHA. Now to finish my homework I didn’t get to because of this issue. I’m going on my 3rd day with only 10 hours of sleep!

I submitted the application at around 1am. I hope the application deadline is extended. If they extend the application deadline then I will be reviewed on priority basis or not? Did anyone listen that the deadline has been extended?

Yeah a lot of people were saying that when they called applications sent after the deadline were still be considered priority.

yes, if you turn in your application from now until midnight, there is no penalty. thank the lord!

Alicia, hopefully you’re still correct on April 30th.

I got my application in at 12:04. Ah c’mon! Came here only to realize cc had crashed as well… I found that hilarious lol

If the extension is true (along with the no-penalty you-still-have-priority idea) then I’m a happy camper.

Good luck to all! I’m knackered and off to sleep.

Finally we fixed everything…and CC is back…I thought it was really ironic.

Yay that everyone isn’t stressing anymore…that much…? (:

See you all later! Good night!..er, morning!^^

bye bye everyone…see you around again come decision times!!!

Just got my application in! When can we expect to hear answers back from the colleges? And when are we supposed to send our transcripts in / update our Fall 2009 grades?

Good luck everyone!
Now all we’ve gotta concentrate on is the Privates for March

Some time in January they’ll send us an email saying they have accepted our applications.

Last time, the updates were done before acceptances were sent out, so I’m guessing it’ll be sometime as early as the first part of February for freshmen, and as late as the end of February for transfers. Just make sure you get this done early. This seemed to have a great effect on when people got winter acceptances.

I just got an email from UCLA saying they received my application.

I got that email too.

I didn’t! :|

^I didn’t either!

Wow! They extended it until tomorrow? That’s pretty lenient.

[University of California - UC Newsroom | Application deadline extended](http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/news/article/22478)

I haven’t gotten an email from UCLA saying they received my application either… And I sent in my application a couple days before the deadline Weird!

For those of you who got that UCLA email, when did you submit your application?

And yeah, they’ve extended the deadline until tomorrow! Crazy. I guess the number of feedback was overwhelming. I got this email:

Dear Applicant,
We apologize for our inability to respond to your email promptly but because of the network and server problems on November 29 and 30 we understandably were inundated with calls and emails. In our out-of-the office response we’ve attempted to give hints to address the most common problems as well as any announcements that were not posted on the web site.
This morning we received the following from the UC Office of the President:
“We are extremely sorry for the Pathways system problems the University of California has experienced these past two evenings. Due to these unforeseen circumstances, we are extending the application period thru December 2nd and strongly encourage you to complete your application. We apologize for this inconvenience.”
Those applicants who were unable to start or complete their applications can do so through December 2 and can submit them until 11:59 PM.
We will continue to send an automatic response to emails but will monitor them periodically as time allows. Pathways Technical Support will be available by phone from 1 PM until midnight on December 1 and December 2. In the event that your call is not answered, we suggest that you not leave a voice mail since that too might not receive a response until much later. You might try calling earlier in the day or try your call again later.

I submitted my application on Saturday night and almost immediately (within a minute or two) got the “thank you for applying” e-mail.

If you haven’t gotten an e-mail, did you take note of the reference number that was on the page after you hit submit? That was basically all that was included in the e-mail, as well as some information about when to expect a credit card charge or further communication from them. As long as you have that reference number you could call them armed with it and make sure your application was really received.

Same with AMorrison, I received the “Your Submitted UC Application” email from the server that confirmed they received the application and included the application number. As for the email from UCLA, I never got it and I selected it as one of my campus choices. What exactly is in that email? Scholarships? Confirmation?
