Appalachian State to UNC?

<p>I'm a NC resident looking to transfer from App to UNC.
I've been taking pretty full course-loads and expect to have a 3.8 gpa by the end of the year.
My SAT was around 2050 if that matters at all (I will be transferring as a junior)
HS GPA: 3.5 UW 4.0 W</p>

<p>I'm also considering NYU, William & Mary, and Rice</p>

<p>Do you think these are reasonable options for someone in my position?</p>

<p>I'd say you're in at UNC if you keep that gpa. A friend of mine got in as a transfer from WCU with around a 3.3 with no SAT so I'd say you have a really good shot.</p>

<p>the other schools are matches, Rice might be the toughest but I think you have a good shot.</p>
