Has anyone appealed at Rutgers New Brunswick (specifically Edward J Bloustein) and actually succeeded? I’ve applied twice and have gotten rejected twice. I want to go here so badly but I just want to know if I’m having my hopes up for no reason .
If you’ve gotten rejected twice, I would say move on.
What are your grounds for an appeal other than you badly wish to attend?
You had a 2.7 GPA in April – that is probably the reason for the rejection and, if so, I see no real grounds for appeal.
Bloustein is so weird. I had gained acceptance into RU-NB schools with higher GPA requirements and higher averages among transfers and still couldn’t get into Bloustein. Someone that I personally know who got lower grades than me and had to retake almost everything got into Bloustein and I still couldn’t, despite showing a strong interest. Their admissions is just weird and I don’t know why. Most appeals are not successful though. The key to getting in is having at least a 3.0, that’s really it, for SAS and SEBS at least
