Appeal might work

Appealing is just sad... we all know that... but the thing is after getting rejected i went back and saw that ihad REALLY messed up my application... firstly id applied to EEcs thinking it wasnt binding ... secondly id forgotten a lot of details and due to berkeleys early deadline i had litlle idea on how to make an impression... i forgot to put in that i was student council president for two years and house captain for the next two... i also didnt add information about being on the school basketball and waterpolo teams... i left out on all the awards and honors.. forgetting to rwrite about the award for most rigorous courseload in school and best result in my GCE O Levels (british patterened system) in my school... i also forgot about my work experience and all in all... i called the admissions office and they say its substantial but nothing can be said for sure... any ideas if all this is what they call 'new and compelling' information?

I told my D to appeal too. I think she needs to demonstrate her leadship. She thought she had shown leadership by listing the titles on her application. I told her that is not enough. She needs to show the problem she had and how she solved the problem.

I’m thinking of appealing to UCB too. I got in UCLA and UCSD, among others, but really want to go to Cal.
I don’t really have anything “new” to list, just thought i’d reiterate my rigorous profile :/
Not sure how to do this. Anybody can help, please?

p.s.: whens the deadline for appeals ? :x
