Hi everyone, I am really hoping to get an answer from someone. I applied for UD and got my acceptance back saying I am admitted to their Associates in Arts program. I wrote them a letter of appeal for re-admissions. The transcript they received is an average looking student. So I informed them that my current report grades have been straight A`s since i started my senior year showing that i have matured and attached my report to the email for them to see.
I was wondering if anyone knows my chances of UD accepting my appeal request and that i get admitted into main campus?
I assume you are in-state. I don’t recall anyone bringing up this specific issue on this board over the last few years. When did you send in your email, did they acknowlege receiving it, and did they give you any indication that they would do a reassessment? I think having straight A’s since the start of your senior year might help depending on the courses you took (Honors and/or AP courses would be most significant). Have you asked anyone at your school (GC or teacher) to write a new letter of recommendation for you addressing why they feel you are more qualified for the 4 year program verses the 2 year program? Best wishes to you.
