Appeal yay or nay?

I got denied from Spelman college for Fall 2007 as a transfer...

I believe it was because of my second semester grades Freshman year which was all F's(5) and a B- and a C

However at that time I was going through medical issues and I appealed that semester to get the grades removed. They were removed and those grades are no longer on my transcript.

I sent Spelman an updated transcript on May 30th, the day the grades were removed, however Spelman had sent their decision May 31st.

So they did not get to see my updated transcript.

Should I try to appeal? The transcript they have says my gpa is a 1.6 however on my updated transcript since the grades have been removed my GPA is a 3.2

Do I have a chance? This is the only school I want matriculate at and when I got the rejection letter I was so devastated.

You really should. It really is a major difference. They need to see that difference. Appealing has to be because their was a change in grades of test scores that were not considered. It will be worth they're while to look over your file again.

thanks bbecker. i am waiting for this day to end, i will be giving them a call early tomorrow morning :(

womp womp womp

???

what does that mean?
