Appealing a Decision

<p>Well, after nearly 4 months of waiting, I finally found out that I am not being offered admission to Madison. I'm pretty bummed, especially now that all of my friends are getting accepted.</p>

<p>I'm just curious... how does the denial appeals process work, and how frequently to do they actually reverse an admission decision? My mom was denied to the U and appealed hers successfully, so of course that is my inspiration for this potential endeavor.</p>

<p>Don't get your hopes up. Too many applicants for the number of spaces. Do well at your second choice so if you want to transfer you will be prepared.</p>
