Appealing as a transfer

Hello, I am a senior in the class of 2016 and I was PACED and Waitlisted (found out today that I was not accepted off the Waitlist) and I am looking into appealing as a transfer student, since I have 30+ hours of dual and AP credit (the AP credit I understand I will have to transfer to my CC transcript). I was first off wondering what are the chances of being admitted through this method, since I currently have a 4.0 average for all my dual classes, but have only taken five so far. Do classes that I am currently taking this semester go toward that minimum of 30 hours? I am also wondering what type of student I will be considered next year if I am admitted this way, since I will have more credits than a freshman despite it being my first year. Would I have to attend a separate orientation as opposed to the freshman orientation, which I have already registered for since I’m enrolled in PACE atm. If anyone has been in a similar situation or has any insight on this I would love to find out more before I go ahead and submit and appeal. Sorry for all the questions and thanks in advance!
