Appealing CSUs (Long Beach to be specific)

I’ve gotten accepted to all of the CSUs I wanted to get in…even got in a few–months before the typical March notification. However, the only CSU I was really considering to actually go to was CSULB (Long Beach), and to my luck I didn’t get accepted…and I don’t see why that is. I was just about to give up, but my boyfriend and other friends insist that I should appeal because they think it’s a definite mistake that I didn’t get in.

However, CSULB doesn’t have ANY information online about the appeal process from what I see. I’m under the impression that I have to call and ask, but in the meantime, does anyone know how the CSU appeal process works? I know the guidelines for the UCs…some are different from the others. I’m assuming that it’ll just be a simple appeal letter and no letters of rec, but I’m just wondering.

Thanks.

Well, I don't have it for CSULB, but..
