<p>bear in mind I haven't even applied yet. But I see all these people saying you basically have no ground if you use senior grades... but what else is there to use??</p>
<p>...the first three years of high school! basically what they are saying is they don't let you use senior year grades as a basis for appeal...because no one's senior year grades are used in establishing acceptance. You would write about maybe why you had lower scores/grades (maybe personal situation...etc) or expand on something in your essay (or especially if somethign wasn't in your essay) that would show them you bring a strong diverse background to the campus. </p>
<p>The point is, if your only basis for appeal will be you have good senior year grades, well, tough luck. You won't get in.</p>
