I was just rejected for transfer admissions and am now working on writing an appeal letter to the admissions office. I was just curious to see if others have been successful in appealing in the past...

Transfer admissions is much more difficult than normal freshman admissions. Unless there was an error in your paperwork AND you were EXTREMELY close to being chosen, I’d say your chances are nil. My opinion only.

Best to move on, frankly.

Unless a school has a formal appeals process, I would say that appealing a decision will probably only anger admissions officers, but I guess you have nothing to lose?

Mehh…

Unless you have connections…prob not gonna happen =/

so no success stories?? I spoke to a woman on the phone from the school and she strongly suggested I send an appeal letter along with my transcript, so I guess they do have a formal process.
