After being CAP'ed, I'm looking into beginning the Appeals process for UT. I was wondering if anyone else was looking into this as well and if so, which school?

Thanks!

I already appealed

Did you appeal through the system on MyStatus? Or did you also send a letter by mail?

Most appeals are never successful.

Through the website. Google appeal ut Austin and the website comes up
http://bealonghorn.utexas.edu/appeals

Actually @jkdreamers if you loom at past posts appeals to ut have been successful. It depends on the reasoning and information given to them. Also if spaces open up should they accept you.

If i changed majors but admissions never responded (from chem eng to business) and considered me for chem eng, can I appeal?

Axel,

I’m pretty sure you can! Their website states that appeals can be done if there were mistakes that happened during the application process (like your case, a miscommunication problem, I would say).

You can also give a call to the Admissions office, or your local Admissions center and ask if you can begin the process for your case. They are always willing to help

That’s what happened with me I changed to undecided no response stayed with chem and bio I am calling tomorrow good luck.

How’s the process going heard any word yet?

Bump

?
