Can I get some advice please?
I made a mistake by not applying for a transfer position to UT Austin, and I know it's very late.

I'm a current student at a community college currently with a 3.8 and plan on majoring in biology.

Is there any hope of trying an appeal process at this point to try and get in as a junior for fall '14?

Side note: I went to Texas Tech my first semester because I was not accepted to UT Austin, and realized that I would not like to spend 4 years on Lubbock.

I appreciate any input

It might be too late and I know that’s a bummer, but maybe try and apply for Spring 2015??

Appeals rarely get accepted, and in order to appeal you would have had to turn your application in for the Fall already. I always advise to talk to their admissions and see what they say though since many of the people here are students, not all of our “facts” are right. Here are the numbers:

I spoke to M. Washington in admissions and he told me the same thing recently. Told me there’s not much of a chance, unless there was a severe circumstance.

Told me that if I wanted to try I would have to apply for spring '15 and then appeal to bring my term forward to fall '14

I’m sorry to hear Maybe things will work out, and you will be there next semester! Fingers crossed :)
