Is anyone planning on appealing?

If so how long is your letter going to be?

If you've had a successful appeal may you please help?

I work with students who are interested in appealing and below is my general advice:

For your appeal to be considered, you must prove that you are a much stronger candidate than what was presented in your application. Specifically, you must present **new **and **compelling **information that was **not previously available **to the admissions office.

While you have the option to appeal, you should do so with the understanding that UCLA is exceptionally competitive and decision reversal is unlikely (in any given year, decision reversal rate is less than 3%). The appeal will most likely not be in your favor and I dont want you to feel rejected twice. On the other hand, if you feel that you need to go through the appeal process so you know you have done everything you can to get into UCLA, then go ahead with the appeal. Hope for the best but dont expect miracles.

The appeal letter should be about 1 page long and no more than 2 pages. I have an appeal template I can send you if you want to send me a private message with your email address.
