<p>i kinda submitted my application on jan9 for rd c''18 and i havent received my confirmation email from cornell yet, according to common app my application has been successfully submitted(payment done). do i need to contact the admission office? if common app says successful does that mean cornell received it before the 10th or did i just lose my chance?</p>

I’m in the same boat. I called the admission office, and they told me that all applicants should receive an email within the next week.</p>
<p>I also submitted January 9th and haven’t received an email yet. I wouldn’t worry, however. I have not received from about 8 schools I applied to. They just have lots to do with ten thousands of applications. :)</p>
