Applicants Of 2011!

Haha they say it’s really weird.

that seems like a nice thing to do :)

It would be lol.

gotta love mental hospital parties

just came back from PEA graduation! was muy bueno! :D(im not sure if that grammar is correct[spanish])

Can’t wait till I can apply! I’ve been waiting practically all my life for this. Going to interview at Andover, Exeter, Choate, and possibly Hotchkiss later this summer. Wherever I go, I must take Deutsch otherwise I will go crazy.

Bump

Ughhhh, I took Deutsch this year and HATED it. I will not be continuing the language, haha! I may try something a bit more useful, like Spanish…

I know Spanish is useful and I took it for three years in elementry school because it mandatory, but I love German. I’d rather go to Europe where nearly everyone speaks english/german than go to mexico with all the drug cartels. Although, Spanish is useful, especially since I want to go to Lima.

Aren’t you in like 6th grade?

noo… I’m going into eighth grade

Oh! I thought you put on your other thread that you were going into 6th grade.

I didn’t assume you were a 6th grader because of the way you typed or anything, haha.

did you guys watch FIFA, US vs England? omg, i felt so bad for poor robert green… ouch!!

i can’t believe england didn’t win hahaha. where was david beckham in all of this??

^beckham is injured.

AND YES Dempsey  I feel bad for Green though, he should’ve got that.

Haha Americans DO watch football? (though I speak American English, using the word “football” to describe a sport that plays with your hands sounds ridiculous to me.

You DO care about that?! LOL!!!

i’m canadian, actually  soccer + hockey + rugby! couldn’t care less about basketball or football (the american football, with the tackling and ridiculously large shoulder pads)

hahaha. the media nicknamed him calamity green :L ouch.
i don’t understand why north america’s not a big fan of soccer, it’s a great sport, and not nearly as exclusive or expensive as hockey…

No one cares about American football outside north America! Literally!
Maybe people in northern Europe play hockey.

The 2010 world cup has around THREE BILLION audience!

Btw, my 55-year-old physics teacher said he liked Super Bowl haha. That’s weird.

FYI, Americans bought the second most tickets to the World Cup, just after South Africa.
It doesn’t make sense. I guess those European descendants and Hispanic people went there to watch football.

I find it highly annoying and slightly sad how overtly and deliberately ignorant a lot of americans are about things out of the country. The US is not the best thing ever, shut up.

True.

I met a lot of Americans who think we still bind our feet and don’t have access to hot water.
They think they’re the center of the world.

^example. They think america is the best thing in the world and anything else is like…primitive in comparison. For pete’s sake some people think canadians are all in igloos! and that the brits all talk and dress like its 1940. anything outside their mind’s border is inferior.
