I really appreciate the schools that send emails saying “your application is complete” (thank you JMU and GMU) versus having to go in the portal and seeing all green check marks and hoping that is considered complete. Why don’t they all do send something like this?

Different schools have different processes and it’s great but frankly, I’d be checking the portal anyway - and maybe every week or two just to be sure nothing has changed.
