Application Confusion

So, I submitted my RD Application around Nov 18th, but when I go to the undergraduate admissions portal, it says my "Application is INCOMPLETE." I have everything checked off except for a campus visit, which I plan on doing after I get my decision, interview, which I thought was optional, and ACT scores, which are optional.

Should I be worried that they aren't going to process my application because the status of my application is listed as "INCOMPLETE" on this portal?

I should also add that I was sent an email asking me to request an interview. However, it was buried in the midst of a lot of college emails and I didn’t get around to finding this email until now. Am I still required to do an interview?

Yup. Wake’s application requires an interview, either in person or via skype.

Well, that’s not the message I got from their website.
“…we strongly encourage applicants to interview with us.” - I inferred from this that they are NOT required.
“As of December 14, The Admissions Office is no longer accepting interview appointment requests from Fall 2013 applicants.
All requests submitted after the December 14 deadline will be held and notified ONLY if an appointment becomes available.”
So, has anyone gotten accepted/any decision when they did not do an interview and did not visit campus?

Ah… sorry, my mistake. I applied prior to Dec 1 for merit money and was told an interview was required-- (it might have been the merit money)? My Wake account was held up by a transcript issue, though, and I emailed them and asked them, and they acknowledged their mistake and marked my app as complete. Try that, maybe? Good luck!

Ok thanks. I’ll call in during this week to see if it’s just marked incorrectly.
