Can someone please enlighten me on how interviews work at Wake Forest. I already submitted my Common App and I am confused on a few things:
Are interviews required?
Will they contact me, or will I contact them?
AND I saw this on the interview request webpage:

"As of December 14, The Admissions Office is no longer accepting interview appointment requests from Fall 2013 applicants. All requests submitted after the December 14 deadline will be held and notified ONLY if an appointment becomes available."

If I submit a request after december 14th and don't receive an interview will my application still be incomplete? Please help!
THANK YOU!!

Okay, let me try to hit all of these questions. First of all, an interview is not required, but highly recommended but if they don’t have time to interview anyone else, they can’t hold that against you. Once you have submitted your application, two recommendations, transcript, and application fee, your application will be marked as complete.Wake Forest gets in touch with you to schedule an interview once you fill out the request form. I had my ED interview in August and they got in touch with my about 24 hours after I requested. Good luck and Go Deacs!

nmaggie, I had my interview on December 19th. I am an international applicant from Hong Kong. I didn’t submit an interview request, i ticked “would likely have an interview” on the interview column.
