I just received an email from UMich with my UM ID. I set up my Wolverine Access account, and according to my application status, my application date is 11/02. I applied early action (deadline 11/01) and according to the Common App website my app was downloaded on 11/1. Will I be considered an early action candidate?

Same boat here except ds applied 10/31 and date received is 11/3 although I know from common app that application and supplement were downloaded 11/1.

I heard that applicants find out whether or not they are being considered EA applicants on Nov 15.

website says November 25…do you have some inside information that says 15th?

^^^ whoops I guess I was wrong. I think I saw Nov 15 on another thread or something.

i asked one of the admissions counselors about this and she said that wolverine access shows 11/2 as the application date for everyone who applied EA, so there’s nothing to worry about

thanks for that! ahhh almost had a freak out when I saw 11/2 on wolverine access. ESPECIALLY since I was up all night for the early action deadline for a couple schools

thanks for that update! have the same issue with wisconsin’s online system.

11/2? I had EVERYTHING in/postmarked two days before the deadline. Mine says 11/3 though. Does this mean I didn’t make it?

First off, don’t worry.
The same thing happened to me: I had everything in on the 30th. When I received my confirmation email on the a couple days ago and logged into Wolverine Access, it said my application date was the 2nd.

I freaked and called Undergraduate Admissions and got this explanation:

The date shown there is the date that the university downloaded your application from the Common App. This is not the date they go by for Early Action. When they actually review your application the date submitted will be shown. This is the date they go by. :)
