<p>Without fail, the single most important item is your transcript and your GPA. Every college clearly lays out its evaluation factors. Start with their websites. It’s not rocket science.</p>
<p>If you want to compare how you look with other admitted kids, google the colleges’ “common data sets” and look at section C. It clarifies all the evaluative factors, lists GPAs and test score ranges of admitted kids.</p>
