Application Fee Waivers: SAT + NACAC

Im a rising senior and unfortunately my family cannot afford my application fees next year.

I will have 4 application fee waivers from the Collegeboard since I took my SATs with fee waivers. However, I wanted to apply to 6-10 schools but was advise not to because of financial difficulties.

Am I able to use the NACAC fee waivers for more schools? Or am I limited to 4 only (using SAT + NACAC fee waivers)?

Thank you so much

Also, some schools will waive the application fee if you ask.

You can also take the ACt with a fee waiver and get another 4 college application fee waivers.

keep in mind that the application fee is only one part of the college process. You will have to pay to send scores, if your school needs the CSS profile for financial aid if you are not fee waiver eligible you will have to pay these fees also.

You may want to email or call each school & see which ones will give you a fee waiver. So the. That will free up your fee waivers for the schools that won’t provide one.

"I plan on applying to more than four colleges. Can I use more than four fee waiver forms?
The final decision regarding the submission of fee waivers rests with the designated school official (i.e., the person at the high school who authorizes the form). NACAC recommends limiting use of the form to no more than four (4) colleges. "

the key word here is “recommends”. I would talk to your GC about the number being used. Cannot hurt to ask.
