I submitted my (online) app to Cornell on Dec 29 or something and got my email with login stuff on January 5.

what if you submit your financial aid app late? does it affect your chance of admission?

no, but it might affect your chance of getting FA...

yeah and that means you pay ticket price...which mind you..is rather ****ay

I sent in my FA info ridiculously late, so I don't think it matters if it's a day or two late

no spanks! FIREY PIT OF REJECTION!!!!! :D

haha, yea, that's what I meant

Spanks, how late is ridiculously?

Um...like...a month, lol

I don't suggest trying it just for kicks, though

Technically, your application is late. However, last year, when I applied to Cornell, I was 2 days late with my application. Yet, I was still admitted, and I even received an early notification of my acceptance. I personally think that you will be okay.

LevelOne, you should have gotten yours already (if you sent it online). Mine was sent about two weeks ago, and I got the email 2 days after it was submitted.

As for the FA form, I was late with it was well (Didn't find out about it till after Jan. 1), but that's not supposed to effect your decision, and as long as you don't wait too long (mine got sent on Jan. 7), you should be OK.

i'll email them if i don't get word - this is slightly worrying, but the commonapp thing says "downloaded" so i'm thinking i'm fine. I hate contacting colleges about that stuff though.
