Application mistake on Ivy league apps

Wondering how significant it is to have made format mistakes (technical errors) on common app or supplemental essays. I copied and pasted essays from Word on my computer and realized after submission that the type appears to be darker (in bold) as well as finding one occasion where there is an extra space between words. These technical errors occurred on submissions to two of my Ivy league school apps. There are no grammatical or content mistakes however I’m concerned about the overall presentation due to these oversights. The more I think about, the more worried I become (as if I don’t have enough to be anxiously worried about already!). Is anyone else experiencing similar concerns, and or is there anyone out there that can provide feedback as to how significant, or not, this may be to ad com decisions?

It will not be the determinant of your application results. You’ve done your best and let the chips fall where they may. Chin up and get back on the horse for another day.

At this point, I would let it go.

I don’t think any adcoms are under the impression that students are composing their essays in the application itself. Most are composing in Word or Docs and cutting/pasting. The formatting doesn’t sound so terrible as to distract from your message. You should be fine.

@Groundwork2022, @private banker Thanks for the feedback!!
