i applied as a transfer student last year, and i was wondering if penn would keep any part of my application on file.

if not, do they basically destroy and throw away all of the applications and application materials when they are done with them?

thanks!

I'm pretty sure they don't, at least for a year or two. Easiest way to find out: contact admissions on Monday.

my guess is they don't throw out the files... if the transfer office doesn't give you an answer, i would assume that they have your old file. it shouldn't matter though, because wouldn't you just be sending an updated version of extracurriculars, grades and perhaps new essays?
