application on hold, need advices!

Hello,

i just got a email from drexel,
it said that, (btw, i am an international student..)

"Thank you for your application to Drexel University. The Admissions Committee has reviewed your application and placed your name on hold. While we believe you have the potential to be successful at Drexel, your English language scores do not meet the minimum requirement for undergraduate studies.

If you are willing to take an English language exam such as the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) or take the SAT or ACT and present improved scores to the Admissions Committee by April 1, we will be happy to re-evaluate your application. If updated test scores are not received and added to your application file by this date, the Admissions Committee will proceed with a decision based on the credentials you have previously submitted. Depending on your credentials, you may be eligible for other programs that lead to full-time undergraduate study at Drexel University."

i cannot improve any scores by april 1, so do i still have any chances to get in?? what is "you may be eligible for other programs that lead to full-time undergraduate study at Drexel University" means?? is that means conditional admission?? drexel is my no.1 choice, im really really nervous now!! any advices?? is there anything i can do now?? thank you!!

I don’t know but are you sure you can’t improve your score at all? I would study like crazy and take the test.

i am going to take a language test, but the score wont come out by april 1. none of them could
so yeah…

Perhaps you should call and explain this and see what they say.

deadline, April 1 is like for everyone. i dont see there is a chance to change it only for me.
so i told drexel to consider me for the conditional admission program, without the language score. anyways, i had my counselor send my mid-term grades to drexel, and another recommendation from my health(which is the major i applied) teacher.

hope it will work… i dont really care if they accept me to conditional program or full-time undergraduate study program, cause all i want is to get into drexel …

thanks for advises tho :)
