Application Process (Early Action)

Hello,
I am a high school senior, very involved in school clubs and academics. I just recently made a account on this site because I have had a lingering question that I could not seem to find in the Forum’s groups (sorry I may be in the wrong group!). I am applying Early Action at North Carolina State University (I am a NH resident). I took my SAT’s last year and my scores were everything but great. So I am taking them again this Saturday! The problem I have is Early Action deadline is October 15th and I won’t be getting my new SAT scores until late October. I was wondering if I should send my bad scores or if I should wait to send my new and hopefully better scores. If I should send my new scores should I do it before I can see them on college board of should I do it once I can see them? Thanks for all the help and sorry if I am in the wrong forum.

Most schools allow you to send your scores late. The answer to your question ultimately depends on what score you got and whether or not you think you will improve drastically. If your scores were within the averages for NC State send both. If you did really really bad then just send your new scores.
