<p>I filled out the texas common application for UT. There was this portion which asked for what two majors I wished to pursue. I did not put liberal arts as one of those choices. </p>

<p>If there was a chance that I may be deferred from my two choices, will UT automatically admit me but place me in the liberal arts program? I am in top10%.</p>

<p>yes - assuming you aren't admitted to either of your major choices you will be placed in the College of Liberal Arts, Undecided.</p>
