I had a couple of questions about the application:

1) I know we have to send in official score reports for SAT/ACT. Do we have to do the same for SAT Subject tests and AP scores?

2) For the awards/honors section if I was the captain of our B team for science quiz bowl and we got ___th place in the state, can I mention that?

Basically, are we allowed to mention team awards or honors if we were part of that team?

3) How do they check if these Awards/honors are legitimate or not?

4) If we are going to do something senior year, can we put it on the extracurricular section?

For example if I will be completing x Number of hours for volunteering at the end of senior year, am I allowed to put that on?

1) yes. you can and should send AP score reports to up to 4 schools when you fill out your AP exam scantron.
2) yes, but make it brief/concise.
3) if everything you put on your app is legit, then no worries… but the university does conduct random check-ups.
4) yes, but phrase it smartly, like “committed to a community service program of x hours per year.”

Yes. Sorry, let me clarify: you need to officially send in AP score reports in May/June to THE ONE SCHOOL you will be attending. However, if you think this school will be Berkeley – if you think you’ll get in and accept – then why not send AP scores for free on your exam scantron?
