Application Rescinded?

I recently got accepted into UMass-Amherst’s CICS undecided/exploratory program. UMass-Amherst was my top school and I’m so grateful for being accepted.

However, I’m worried about getting my application rescinded since I got kicked out of the second semester of my online AP Computer Science: A class.

I wasn’t booted from the second semester because I was failing or anything of the sort. I signed up for the full-year class in November and I thought I would be able to finish everything by my graduation, but the workload was too heavy to keep up. I might still be getting credit for my first semester (grade: A) and plan on taking the AP exam since I am already familiar with the programming language.

Will my application be rescinded?

All advice and commentary is appreciated…

Is this a class taken through your school? If so, I would contact the undergraduate admissions office. If it wasn’t through the school, I highly doubt this would affect you.

The class was taken through FLVS, which is an online school where Florida students can take extra classes at home for high school credit. FLVS classes are recognized as the equivalent of offline high school classes.

Ya if theres no failing grade on your transcript, you should be fine
