Application Roster

yes... good luck with maintaing a decent GPA and your sanity... but you could be one of those hypo-hypomanics who can basically do anything they set their mind to... so honestly... good luck

hmmm perhaps I should do a neuro & PH double major!! =D....with a minor in English =P. but that would be suicidal -- .... or i could try neuro with PH minor, or vice versa. I wanted an English/Lit minor somewhere cuz I really like reading/writing! (altho I hope i have enough time to read the crazy load they give...) so maybe i shouldn't do official eng minor but rather jus read for fun? =D. But I don't want to seem like a pure science geek to med schools either...cuz i'm not!! I'm an all-around nerd ;-). ahhhh....choices!!.....
But WAIT!!
......I guess the first step is to...GET IN!! heh.....^(-___- ;; )>

Am/are I/we thinking too far ahead, or not far ahead enough? THAT is the question [at hand], my friends =P.

yeah I cant stop myself from looking at my major's program already and trying to figure out my 4 year class schedule and what it'll look like...

dec 15 is so slow in coming...

ED, def love jhu, prob pre-med/biology, but possibly bme, not gonna get in, but i might as well give it a shot. and possibly double with music...hows the live audition btw, difficult to get in?

xtina06, i'm in the same boat with you. i can't decide what to study because there is so much that i want to try out. i really wanted minor in philosophy too but i don't think that will happen, plus my parents hates philosophy. so IF i get in to JHU, i will use the first semester as the trying out period and if i find it too stressful then i might just do IR major, then complete premed requirements to go to med school to study neuroscience. that sounds like a plan too..

for all i have to get in first........i'm scared that dec 15 might crush me cuz my heart is so in the hopkins already.

yep i totally know how u feel, i can feel everything being crushed right in my face on the 15th...this anticipation's horrible.

Haha...I guess it is all our common fear =D. Let's stick and hope together!!

Majors that applicants are uncertain about I marked with a (?)

nanaijuh- what instrument do you play? peabody is....crazy good, i've heard. (i play trumpet....was seriously considering (last year) auditioning for peabody's sound recording / music double major thingo...)

leon fleischer is definitely good for piano, if by any chance you play piano.

hey prpltrmpt: yea i play piano, good guess. only thing is that double major at peabody and jhu is 5 years, and plus i dont think i'll get in...my piano teacher went there with a full scholarship, and shes reeeeaaaaally goooood.

oh, hah and i play piano too =D
well, if you want, you could always just audition for lessons at peabody (you don't need to be a music major for that). OR....i'm really unclear on this, but- is there like this thing where you can major in music w/o being at peabody? it's like...bachelor of arts, music major, instead of bachelor of music? okay. you know what? NEvermind! i don't really know what i'm talking about..........

hahha.....BTW IB class.....i'm only considering a MINOR in english, not a major!! hahaha

For the purposes of the roster, majors and minors are treated equally. No discrimination. :)

LOL...okie doke :)
