I applied to Penn State back in early September and my application status hasn’t changed to “under review” yet and still says “Penn State is currently receiving a high volume of supporting application materials…”
I recently had to contact the office of admissions about an issue with my SRAR. I’ve had many many problems with my Penn State application.
If it doesn’t change by November 30th, should I contact admissions again?
When is the last time you called them? I’d call and ask to speak with an admissions rep to make sure they have everything they need. The people who answer the phone at admissions are not admission reps. Ask to speak to an actual admissions rep or e mail and ask if they have everything they need.
I might also suggest that you send an email. I did that a while ago when the SRAR was sitting at “Received” and not “Completed” for a long time. I received an email back that they had everything they needed.
@jlhpsu I’ve never called admissions, but I’ve probably sent about 6 emails regarding my application because there were many issues (No summer session box, SAT score box not showing received, Transcript issues). I could either call or send an email today, but I would like to get in touch with them before the holidays. I’ve been asking around and other students, as well as nursing students have been marked as “under review”.
@nursingman My D applied in the middle of October and her status has not changed to “under review” yet either. She is also applying to the nursing school. And her SARS says received not complete. I guess all we can do is wait!
