Application supplements for University of Connecticut BS/MD program?

I am a senior in high school applying for the University of Connecticut Combined Medical program (CPiM). I started research (Cell Biology) in January 2009, and I recently co-authored a paper accepted for publication in a journal.

Would it help my chances of being accepted to UConn CPiM if I submit the accepted version of the paper with the application??

Yes, you should submit the paper with the journal information. If the journal will be submitted very soon, however, you can just mention it in your essay or cite it on your resume.
